Istanbul is one of the smallest islands. Yassıada with Sivriada by Istanbul residents "in Hayırsızada" as they are also called. It is not inhabited. It is an extension of the sea from a hill rising above the sea. The altitude is 90 meters. South of the island is a small port, there is also a fresh water well. It is known that the island used as exile during the Byzantine period. In ancient times, the monks who want to retreat is also recognized as a place where meat demand. On the island, there is a monastery since the 10th century. Today only some remnants survived.
